Willow Pond

Willow Pond

from £80.00

The pond was dug in the field at the back of the building in 2002. Friends of Suntrap planted vegetation including a twisted willow tree.

Emma said ‘When I entered the pond area I was blown away by how tranquil and beautiful it was. This was the first pond I saw, and named it Willow Pond.

The twisted willow tree was bright yellow and the little white boat lay underneath it. It was late spring so everything was bursting into life.

The occasional little duck would swim past and you could hear birds all around.’

‘Through documenting the beautiful wildlife and buildings that they've called home for so long I hope I can capture the magical spirit and the stories it has to tell. I feel envious of children growing up in the borough and experiencing a school trip here’.
