Oak Tree Pond
Oak Tree Pond
Vegetation at this pond included an Oak tree and yellow water lilies (bandy bottle). The pond was extended in 2002 from an existing pond.
Emma said ‘Oak Tree Pond really came into its own in the early summer. The vegetation had really filled out since my initial sketches in the spring and the Lily pads covered the glistening water.
The ducklings popped in and out of the shady area at tree trunks and there were an abundance of dragonflies skimming the water’s surface.’

‘Through documenting the beautiful wildlife and buildings that they've called home for so long I hope I can capture the magical spirit and the stories it has to tell. I feel envious of children growing up in the borough and experiencing a school trip here’.
