The Green Hut

The Green Hut

from £130.00

The outdoor classroom has always been referred to as The Green Hut. This was originally the chapel for the hospital. The animal sheds housed chickens and a rabbit, but have also been home for ferrets and an owl.

Emma said: ‘There were a few things that really attracted me to this area of Suntrap. I loved the eroding little green hut, and the roof of the chicken run. Both buildings felt like they had a few stories to tell, but both were still standing.

I liked how organic the whole area felt, like the build- ings had grown into their surroundings somehow.’

‘Through documenting the beautiful wildlife and buildings that they've called home for so long I hope I can capture the magical spirit and the stories it has to tell. I feel envious of children growing up in the borough and experiencing a school trip here’.
