FROM THE ARTIST

The scenes to delight my eye while wandering Giverny were too many to choose from for painting. This is one of many to come. It's no surprise Monet drew such inspiration from his garden and delighted in being there. His gardens were full in every direction, sometimes with apparently random plantings and sometimes with carefully planned arrangements. i sat and absorbed it for quite a while.
