FROM THE ARTIST

Saint Michael's Mount is essentially a mini version of Mont Saint Michel in France, yet quite different in composition. A large part of the delight is that it still has tidal access by foot. we wandered the beach with a number of others, awaiting the tide to subside sufficiently for us to traverse the warn stone path and explore the mount on our winter adventure. A beautiful place with stunning views and magnificent gardens but I must admit my favourite part was actually walking this well trodden path with waves gently licking the edges.
